Griswoldia Lighting Ceremony

Come and celebrate the lighting ceremony of Griswoldia, a laser light art installation by Tannery artist Geoffrey Nelson that will illuminate the Tannery Arts Center campus throughout December.

The ceremony will be at 6 PM on Thursday, December 1st. Griswoldia will light up the Tannery every evening in December from 5 pm to 9 pm.

The lighting of Griswoldia also kicks off the Tannery’s Winter Art Market, a four-day shopping celebration of locally made arts, crafts, and goods.

The Winter Art Market runs from Thursday, December 1st to Sunday, December 4th. The hours are 4 pm to 7 pm on Thursday, with the lighting ceremony at 6 pm on Thursday, Friday from 6 pm to 9 pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 12 pm to 5 pm. It will feature over 50 artists who work in ceramics, glass, textiles, printmaking, illustration, painting, jewelry and sculpture, as well as food vendors and music.
